Question: I just had my little boy four months ago. My average weight was 145 before i got pregnant. And it went to a leaping 205.....ouch! I am now at 180. The weight that is going to just fall off of me already has and i know it is up to me to do the rest. I have always heard that baby weight is hard to get off. I need tips....

Do you have a gym membership? I did the water aerobics and it helped a ton!! No gym? I also rode bike and went for regular walks with my baby. You can also use your baby as a weight. lie on the floor and have him sit on your belly. As you do a crunch say peek-a-boo or make a favorite sound. The extra weight helps you contract your stomach muscles even more! Still lying on your back you can also do chest presses with him. Keep it slow and only do about 5 at a time. Hold him securely by his sides and slowly bring him up and down to your face. My daughter LOVED this one!! As for eating. I cut out soda, watched labels for high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. I only buy 100% fruit juice. Watch your portions and stop eating when you are just starting to feel full, even if you still have food on your plate. If you eat until you feel really full, you will actually overeat!! My daughter is now 20 months and I am below my pre-pregnancy weight!!

This is what I did: Diet while breastfeeding = Smaller meals, no trans fat (hydronated oils, partially hydronated), lean meat, no high-fructose corn-syrup, home made smoothies (1 cup yogurt, half a cup ice cubes, half a cup of juice, as much as fruit as you want) Also fill your plate with tons of veggies! Exercise= Walks/jogs with your baby, dancing whenever you get a chance (danc eto entertain the baby) do squats whenever you are watching TV (commercials or whatever) Also try something like Tae BO helps tighten abs. Most celebrity Moms lose weight really fast and they exercise three hours a day, which is insane, but they can afford the bes trainers to motivate them. I do not exercise three hours a day but I try to do an hour a day, giving myself rest two days a week. Keep on the treadmill. Honeslty for me it would not come off until I eleminated the bad oils and high frustose corn syrup from my diet.

soups can be both filling and comforting try making a garden or bean soup with low salt broth and store in portion sized cups for later

store bought salad dressings can be packed with calories make your own vinaigrette and store it in a small spray bottle to coat your greens without over dressing them
