Question: So I have realized this question has been asked for years but I want to know the real actual way to burn off belly fat.So heres my story I have been working out for about 3 weeks now every single day now and I have been working on upper body which I do see very well results for 3 weeks and I have been running on the treadmill every single day for 20 mins and I have been doing allot of ab routines which just made my stomach hard but I still have that layer of fat on me. I have a very well diet like oatmeal 2 calories or cereal about 5 calories and for lunch salads nd healthy fruits and vegetables and for dinner 4 calorie cream soups and lots of water I don't see whats wrong I still have fat on my tummy like literally a layer not just alittle, a layer.There are times where I would starve myslef I need advice on really burning a whole layer off any tips for me Thanks yahoo answers I really need help! :)

You could have an intolerance to gluten or lactose. This can make the stomach bloat and look fat. It could be water retention, which gives the appearance and feeling of a fat stomach. Also, it might just be excess fat. Excess fat tends to store around the stomach more so than any other part of the body. Even if you eat healthy, if you are eating too much food, this could be the culprit. I suggest having set portion sizes and eating just until you are full, not over. This worked for me and I notice that when I stick to my portion sizes (and avoid gluten, as it is very bloating) my stomach looks flatter. Hope this helps :)

You are 14 and you play football and do wrestling that is a good activity. How long do you do this activity and for how many days in a week. The idea is it should be regular and constant with minimum 2 hours - 1 hour at a stretch. Diet needs to be controlled with more of vegetable / fruit stuff. Increase your intake of drinking water to minimum 12 glasses per day. Workout at some Gym under guidance of trainers will also help. The best, over and above your present activity - take long walks in open air - preferably early mornings - start with 2 kms and increase it to 5 and than to 10 kms in very gradual stages. This will take upto 4 months - with 5 days in a week programme. Once when you are comfortable with 10 kms walk which you have to achieve in 90 to 100 mts - you have to start jogging / running at comfortable space. No sprints or fast running. Start with 1 kms in the begning along with your walks and gradually increase it as you feel comfortable. Walk & Run, Walk & Run - that should be the aim. Do not overdo the exercises with the aim to reduce at a fast pace. That would be harmful. This may take more than 6/8 months to achieve. Having an effective workout routine will give you the best results when trying to trim the fat off the belly region. You want to get your heart rate up to fat burning level (different for everyeone, varies with age) for a long period of time, say about 45-60 minutes a day. Also doing this in the morning will greatly increase fat loss because the body will tap into fat reserves to burn because you have not eaten yet. Hope this helps.

Here's your diet secret: Burn more calories than you take in. Download the app 'My Fitness Pal' on your phone and it will tell you how many calories you need to eat a day. Eat as close to that as possible. Believe it or not, if you eat TOO FEW of calories, you won't lose weight because your body thinks you're starving yourself and it will hold on to fat. Eat plenty of protein and fiber. Limit your carbs but do not cut them out completely. Lots of veggies and lean meats. Substitute sugary snacks for fruit. Drink LOT's of water. Drink it constantly throughout the day. Eat a small meal every 3 hours as opposed to 3 large meals. If you MUST eat 3 meals, eat a LARGE breakfast, a MEDIUM lunch, and a LIGHT dinner. Exercise 3-5 times a week. Start out slow. You don't want to hurt yourself. Cardio should be your main focus. Maybe pepper in some free body exercises like push-ups, crunches, planks, etc. You will not see results right away. It takes time. Like the old saying "It didn't get there overnight so it won't come off overnight." Just keep at it and stay motivated.

No matter what abs of steel says, you cannot lose fat from just certain parts of your body. You have to lose fat all over and learn exercises to tone the parts of your body that you want to tone. If you have excess fat on your sides, chances are you have excess fat elsewhere, sorry to say. Start off by tryint to lose 10% of your body weight, and see if that helps shrink those love handles.

i advise you to drink green tea 1-3 glasses per day green tea speeds up your metabolism drink lots and lots of water 8 glasses each day. do not snack go on the half off diet only eat half of what you would usually eat and give or throw the rest away if you are really hungry and you've had all your daily meals snack on fruits ( oranges, apples, bananas ) exercise more try and run for at least 30 minutes a day get more active get more sleep it prepares your body stretch, yes it works and it doesn't just help you lose weight it helps with you're growing to make you a little taller count your calories try to stay under the amount of 1300 calories per day change you're lifestyle it makes a difference do not eat candy or chips eat more greens or protein bars avoid fast food and cut out fried food when you cook your meal oven cook your food do not fry it chew gum because when you chew gum you do not pick at food for example if theres some chips in you're cupboard you go to them a think good damn they look good then you would say no i cant pick at them because i dont wanna throw my gum away do not eat after 6pm because before 6pm you can burn all you're food off and if you eat after six it will lay on you're stomach as you eat. do not eat before you go to sleep drink a glass of water before you go to sleep eat spicy food, if you can because it speeds up you're metabolism do not weigh you're self everyday because it torments you,weight you're self once a week ( every Monday ) good luck! you can safley lose 2 to 3 lbs. a week stomache exercise=Lie on the floor, legs straight out, hands at your sides. Lift your legs straight up (not bending your knees at all) until they're at a 90 degree angle (or close). Lower your legs and repeat without letting your legs touch the floor. For more challenge there is equipment at most gyms that will allow you to raise yourself up using your arms as support and dangle your legs. You can perform leg lifts there too. If you're using this piece of equipment, you can make it easier by just raising your knees to your chest. It's more difficult to raise your legs to a horizontal position with your legs straight. This helps firm up the lower abdomen. If you're truly a monster, try doing leg lifts with a medicine ball hanging from your feet. Or hang from a pull up bar and raise your legs in front of you all the way up to the bar.
