Going for Chinese food tonight and really want to order it as healthy as possible. So, No MSG , Steamed Rice, (ETC) what else can I do, any tips??

i cant tell you if the place uses MSG ( a lot of chinese places used msg to enhance the flavor). but if you want to order healthy food, get stirfried vegetables. a lot of places you can order steamed vegetables too. but otherwise, everything else is fried!

Chinese food varies a lot as to how healthy it is for you. There are dishes with a lot of vegetables and very little oil and dishes with batter coatings and deep fried and sugar infused sauces.
Shrimp fried rice is not terrible.
It is a bit heavy in fat, sodium, carbs and more of a "filler" dish.
Sesame Chicken depends on how it is prepared and the amount eaten.
Batter dipped little chicken pieces fried and/or in heavy sauce:
or large pieces with no batter dip and deep frying
If looking to eat Chinese food that is particularly good for you,
dishes filled with vegetables
Chicken/fish/scallops/shrimp or even lean beef in brocolli or vegetables is much higher on the list of good choices than sesame chicken.
A scallop-broccoli stir fry
showing a lower calorie count and much lower fat with high protein as an example.

I don't know anyway to be sure that no MSG was used other than asking. If you really want the healthiest then your best bet would be looking for the low cal portion of the menu. Now more chinese restaurants include a low calorie menu featuring things like stir fry veggies. But with the sauce they use, I can't say it would be all that healthy unless it is steamed and sauce is sparse. If you want the healthiest Chinese food then you would have better luck making it yourself. Some Chinese restaurants have spring rolls even though its more of a Vietnamese cuisine but its a healthy alternative. Nothing that was fried, and heavy in sauce.

Order Chinese Food.
In American Chinese restaurants, it is better to ask them do the real Chinese cook for you, because it is different in China and in USA.
Tell them you don't want to add MSG in your order.
Depends what do you like to eat, more meat or vegetables, or you probably want to try sea food.
For the meat menu: Sesame beef, Sesame crispy chicken; if you like hot spicy one, Mongolian beef is hot.
Sea Food: Shrimp with garlic sauce is good, or Scallop with garlic sauce; Shrimp with Szechan sause will be the hot spicy choise;
Vegetables: Broccoli in oyster sauce, stir fried pea pods.
Soup: A lot of people like hot and sour soup, but I prefer egg drop soup or Chinese vegetable soup.
Noodle: Lo Mein, or Combo Lo Mein
Rice: Fried rice( for your choice are pork, beef shrimp or vegetable) I like shrimp with vegetable fried rice.
Still need to say, which restaurant are you going to go, and which city are you in. If there are a lot of Chinese people in your city, that means you will have some real Chinese restaurant in your city.

Something that's mainly vegetables? I'm not sure. Try to go for normal rice rather than fried rice :)

Most any food choices in a Chinese restaurant are not very healthy because of all the fat, sodium and calories the food has. Even the foods that are high in veggies and low in protein are still not really healthy due to how they are cooked. I would say both of your options are equal in nutritional value so eat which ever one you want. If the restaurant has a 'steamed' option for veggies and rice that would be good to go with, and you could forgo the sauces that are full of bad things.
