Question: I've noticed I've put on a bit of weight in the past few weeks. Nothing drastic, just enough for me to notice. I have never exactly had a flat stomach, but I've never been overweight, either. I used to do running (which only made my thighs pack on the muscle and did pretty much zilch for my stomach, which was what I was aiming for in the first place.) So now I would like to know how I could slim my stomach down. My diet, I drink a lot of coke zero. Yes, I know this is bad, but I am trying to cut down, I just don't know how. Also, my mum buys a lot of unhealthy foods. You know, chips, etc. So if I'm home during the day, I just snack out on them. Also, I have weights. Only 2kg, but I'm a girl. I used to use these but I kinda stopped. So, suggestions based on what I've told you? Thanks, - Shannon

Everyone has a problem spot. It can be around the stomach, thighs, arms or chest. No matter where your trouble spot is, the solution is exactly the same. You need to eat less and exercise more. The reason why there's only one solution for all of these problems is because it's impossible to tell your body where to burn the excess fat from. When you eat too many calories, your body stores the excess energy as fat in different areas around the body. To lose this fat, you need to create a calorie deficit (eat less than you burn) to force your body to start burning that fat for energy. There is absolutely no way to control where your body goes to find this extra fat. The larger your calorie deficit (a bigger calorie deficit means a bigger difference between what you eat and what you burn) the faster your body will burn excess fat and the quicker your body fat percentage will start to decrease. You can increase your calorie deficit by cutting your daily intake and exercising more. Sit ups will do nothing to target the fat around your abs just like squats will do nothing to target the fat around your thighs. Stay away from starchy and high carb foods - mostly white things. Bread is a bad, so try to stick to thin, HIGH in fiber, slices :) you can google all the stuff and before you know it you will feel so good about it all and IM actually excited to start working out and all that, just because I know what it will do for me!go wheat free. when you eat calorie friendly fruits and vegetables that are in season they tend to taste better and you re more likely to enjoy them

ok, you're closer to the underweight class via ways. To lose leg fat, do squats, leaping squats, and something the place you flow down on the floor like a dogs, then raise your legs up in the direction of the ceiling separately. sturdy success!

Losing fat is 90% diet, you will never lose fat if that is not right. Also look up HIIT, great form of cardio for burning fat.

it's a lower body exercise so it won't really tone your upper body but it will burn fat off your entire body. only takes a couple of strength exercises and maybe 15mins a few times a week to tone your upper body. how long it takes is dependent on how much fat you want and need to lose. you should notice a difference after a few weeks but it might take months to get into the shape you desire.
