Question: im trying to lose weight..i dont eat anything during the day but i usually consume about 1,500 calories right before going to bed i have some pasta, 3 slice of pizza, peanut buter and jely wit hole weet sandweech, a protein shake and reese pufff cereal with 3.5% milk with little bit of chocolate will i lose weight fast i also stop drinking water cuz im afraid it will slow my metabolism down and make it starvation mod

You are starving your body from having much needed nutrition and vitamins through out the day. Eating one large meal instead of 6 small meals through out the day promotes fat storage because your body does not know when its next meal is coming. Also Eating so many calories right before you go to bed when your body is not burning weight is also a no no. Lastly cutting water out of your diet is a huge mistake when trying to lose fat. Water increases your metabolism. researchers found that the less water women drank, the more slowly they burned calories. Even mild dehydration could slow down your metabolism by as much as 3%. Thats enough for you to gain 2 lbs a year. Water improves your liver's fat burning ability because your liver will be more efficient at using sotred fat for energy when you are well hydrated. Water combats hunger pang. According to researchers, just one glass can shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of dieters. Lastly dehydration drains your energy by decreasing your blood pressure. This slows your circulation and reduces the flow of oxygen and nutrients to your cells. The plan you are currently on will slow your metabolism, promote fat storage, and also is promoting the breakdown of muscle tissue for those need nutrients your body is going without the whole day. You may lose weight by not eating but you are doing a terrible thing to your body for the future and when you begin to eat again that weight will jump right back on your body.

To be honest, its going to be really difficult to ascertain the amount of weight you'll lose in this period of time. Having such a low calorie intake over an extended period of time will not give you the exact results you're looking for. Your body will begin to fight back after a time. If you intend to follow such a low calorie intake, you need to have a day a week in which you consume a few hundred more calories than the other days. This will keep your bodies' metabolism at a manageable level, and remove any risk of your body going into starvation mode (even though you insist you're not starving yourself). 2. Having such a low calorie intake also tells me you're likely getting very little protein in your diet. If it were me, I'd raise the calorie intake a bit to account for more protein. Its something your body needs if you're going to lose weight. Nuts with no added salt would be a good way to do this, but there are many other ways. 3. I'm not going to tell you how stupid you are, but playing with your body's metabolism like this is not the way to go. There is not a single person on Yahoo! answers that can give you a range of how much weight you'll lose, but there -are- people like me who can tell you how to do it better than you already are. that's bulimic behavior...eating 1500 cals is a binge and starvation is a form of purging. just eat most of your food at the beginning of the day, and less at night. Also work out, and you should be fine.

you are consuming a whole lot of carbs. and your calories are of foods you need to avoid. you would be much better off, eating lean protein and fruits and vegetables spread throughout the day. your metabolism will be working throughout the day digesting the meals. drink water. your body needs to be hydrated.
