Question: Does anyone have any ideas on losing weight quickly? I have a really important reunion coming up and I have been really depressed the past 6 months and I have gained weight. Does anyone know any secrets on losing weight fast? Or does anyone know any of the weight loss pills over the counter that really works fast?

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. Eat nutritious foods that are high in calories. Examples are whole-grain breads, vegetables such as avocados and potatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, poultry and fish. Increase the caloric value of your meals. Add powdered milk to casseroles for added calories, add avocados and olives to sandwiches, add wheat germ to your cereal, add chopped meat to your pasta sauce, and so on. Avoid skipping meals. Knowing how to gain weight involves consistent eating. Eat three meals a day and at least two snacks. Increase your normal portion size. Take a second scoop of pasta, or add two bananas to your oatmeal. Choose higher-calorie foods when given a choice. For example, corn is higher in calories than green beans. Relax - excessive fidgeting and restlessness can burn up a lot of calories. Add weight lifting to your exercise program. It helps build muscle mass. Balance your caloric intake with the number of calories you're burning. You need to be taking in more than you use up, and you may need to ease up a little on your exercise program.

Diet pills don't work and there are no secrets to losing weight, except to eat healthy and excercise. Try to excercise at least an hour a day and cut out any unhealthy foods in your diet so you eat only a little bit. Drink lots of water instead of soda and sugary juices. Eat fruits and vegetables when you are hungry not potato chips or other unhealthy snacks. Do NOT starve yourself, though, or try to lose more than 4-6 pounds or so a month. Thats just unhealthy and the long term effects won't be worth losing all the weight.

The key to healthy weight loss is to loose it in a healthy manner. Weight that is lost quickly and by starvation or pills is a no-win situation. You will only gain it back two-fold. The best way to lose fat and tone your muscles is to eat good, healthy food and lift weights. Cardiovascular (aerobic) and relaxation (yoga) exercises are also important. It is best to eat five to six times a day. I usually eat my three main square meals - breakfast (which is my largest, healthiest meal), lunch (dependent on how I am feeling, usually large to medium meal) and dinner (medium meal, eaten no later than 7:30). Then, in between each meal, I eat a healthy, planned snack if I get hungry. This is important to keep your metabolism working properly. I also found a book that mimics a lot of my dietary habits. The book is called The Eat-Clean Diet: Fast Fat-Loss that lasts Forever by Tosca Reno. However, I am not a vegetable lover so I substitute with healthy home-cooking and wise food selections when I go to restaurants. I rarely drink soda pop (July 2008). Believe me, if you eat healthy, drink water and fruit juices, and perform weight bearing exercises, you will notice a difference in your body composition. And, that is what you really want, a toned body. Use your mirror as your guide, not the bathroom scale. If you are stressed or depressed, take some yoga classes. It will help you relax, organize your thoughts and stretch your new muscles. It may also help you to journal your thoughts and eating habits. Start exercising slowly and with small weights to prevent injury. Also, check with your doctor before starting an exercise routine to ensure that you select the correct workout program compatible to your health. I wish you the best! So first of all you have to have confidence in yourself! my advise is that you should eat at least 5 portions of fruits and vegetables.That's one thing. The second thing is that you should eat special k or fitness cornflakes some mornings and nights. If you can. Try to change your food so your stomach wont get bored. For example eat cornflakes in the morning and at dinner eat a salad. Dinner should be eaten before 7:00 pm! After that time you should eat nothing but water. Cancel any chocolates. Cancel any soft drinks! Not even once a month. Any junk food should not be eaten. You should at least exercise everyday, walking, running, jogging, yoga, anything that suits you. You should not be taking any pills whatsoever. Before you eat anything check its calories and carbohydrates. If they are a lot i suggest you don't eat it. Keep eating and exercising they way i told you and believe me you will lose alot of weight. Also one more thing. Before you Start your diet and exercises weight yourself and take your body measurements and write them down on a piece of paper and after 10 days weight yourself again and take your body measurements again. You should compare them with the last 10 days and see the differences. You will see how many inches you lost from your stomach, butt, thigh, etc. Remember take your measurements every 10 days until you get the perfect body size you wanted! I followed this plan and it was pretty good, you can even eat eggs if you want!

Fruits and veggies are REALLY low in calories and FULL of nutrition. If you like Tacos? Ditch the hard shell, maybe try a taco salad.. without the shell of course! Lettuce with meat is good, but PLEASE try mixing it with turkey and beef so that it isnt all fat. Chicken salad is good, you want the protein but you dont want fried anything really, once in a while if fine but remember - YOU HAVE TO BURN OFF THOSE EXTRA CALORIES. Excersises excersise excersise. Dont over do it - dont starve yourself, be moderate and stay active. GOOGLE: 100 ways to burn 100 calories, their are some pretty cool things you can do! Stay away from starchy and high carb foods - mostly white things. Bread is a bad, so try to stick to thin, HIGH in fiber, slices :) you can google all the stuff and before you know it you will feel so good about it all and IM actually excited to start working out and all that, just because I know what it will do for me!go wheat free.
