Question: I have been living with lower back pains for 2 years now. It's miserable. The pain is a result from a fall I took. When I went to the Dr's he just gave Ibuprofen and suggested I loose some weight. I've been exercising and have lost 30 lbs. I'm about 5'10 and weigh about 195 lbs. I carry my weight well, but I still suffer from from the pain. Are there any excerises that I can do to make the pain go away? I am a member of a gym so I do have access to good equipment. Have I not lost enough pounds to make a differance. Please help. No BS answers, this is a serious matter.

There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic. Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. don't waste your time with a chiropractor,your back will feel good while your there but as soon as you get 1/2 way home your pain will come back.Physical Therapy is the best option for you.here is a book you Can get some great exercises from.http://www.amazon.com/treat-your-back-ro... i suffered from lower back pain for 10 yrs and opted for surgery.if you see your doctor he will just get you into PT .unless you have numbness they wont do an MRI.and since your not close to considering surgery an MRI would be a waste.

My husband had this same problem! He went to the chiropractor. They gave him a paper on stretches to help and he went to see them once a week for about a month. He stopped going because we realized that the stretches were doing more for him than the Dr. this was over a year ago and he is still doing good with the stretching when the pain reoccurs. This may be something to look into as it is hard to explain the stretches in words on here. I will investigate for you if you would like on getting the paper and then I can scan or email it to you.

This sounds strange, but try it for a few days. Concentrate on walking with your full weight on your heels. Always have your heels touch first and let your weight fall hard on the heel and not hardly at all on the toes. This will allign your lower back with no work at all in a few days of doing it all day, up and down stairs everything. I cured mine.

Do crunches for abdominals..make sure you dont hold your breath..it is important to breathe naturally.. Crunches for different parts : The reverse crunch - is performed by curling the legs and pelvis towards the shoulders. More emphasis is placed on the lower abdominals. The twisting crunch - is performed by lifting one shoulder at a time. More emphasis is placed on the obliques. The cable crunch - is performed while kneeling upright by curling the body to pull down on a cable machine. The hips should be kept motionless, so that the individual's bodyweight does not assist the movement. The bicycle crunch - is performed by bringing together alternating elbows and knees, resulting in a leg motion similar to pedaling a bicycle. water - warm not iced(makes you bloated) shorts and tshirts fine... all the best!
