Question: All "answers" that include preaching, telling me that I need to eat more, will be promptly ignored. Ok. I exercise everyday, but, to be frank, i don't eat alot. This is a problem, I suppose, but I'm not asking for the solution to IT, because I know how to change that. Obviously. So basically: Metabolism boosters. Already got the exercising down. When I do eat, it's fruit n' stuff- anything else I can do to keep my metabolism high and, thereby, lower my weight?

Hello, I am kinda in your position as well. I found that eating smaller portions more frequently helps speed up your metabolism. I eat around 7 times a day, but they are small things, like, a handful of grapes here, a piece of toast there, etc. I don't eat a lot either because I'm trying to shape up and fit into my high school jeans (I'm getting close). Also, don't eat within an hour of going to sleep, at least. The last time I eat during the day is around 4 or 5, and then I just drink water and tea until bedtime. I haven't lost weight because I've been faithfully using my Bowflex everyday to build muscle mass and tone up my derriere. I do know that eating less more frequently instead of more less frequently is a metabolism booster : )

Uh-Oh ... It sounds like you have an eating disorder developing. 800 calories is way too low for anyone. It does slow down your metabolism over time, but to me, it sounds like you are trying to lose weight the bad way. If you sincerely need to lose weight, and are not doing this out of compulsiveness or anxiety, then you should have at LEAST 1200 calories a day, especially if you exercise. Keep in mind, though, that when you exercise you gain muscle weight, and muscle weighs more than fat and retains more water. All I can say is: find a healthier way to diet. Best of Wishes.

It depends on what you mean by eat less. If you're eating less then you normally eat, but it's healthy portions of healthy food, then of course you'll lose weight and keep it off. But if you just don't eat that much food, then you're not getting the vitamins you need, and you'll start ot starve yourself. First your body will try to store everything, and your weight will stall. But then you'll lose weight because you aren't feeding yourself. But you'll feel like crap the whole time. After you start to eat normal again, even if it's healthy portions and food, your body will store it all because it's starving!! It needs fuel, and you took that fuel away, so it has to make up for the loss. So yes, you'll gain it back, only if you're doing it the wrong way.

ok this does involve food, but it does help out. instead of eating ur whole meal at one time, seperate it and eat it at different times. eat 1/3 at a certain time and the othe 2/3 at another. also, exercising differently brings up the metabolism. try doing different exercises every time. maybe even going a little more intense in the same exercises can help u get the body u want.

everyone is obbsessed with losing wieght... Eat healthy , get a lot of excersice, people make it really hard.
