Add as much vegetable to your diet as you can. While preparing lentil soup (dal), add vegetables like carrot, peas, gourd, beans, tomato, broccoli, beet root. These make the soup not only more delicious but the color and the odor makes it even more tempting. And what more it is so healthy. I need not describe the goodness of each. This also serves as a good baby food. Whenever you cook rice, add vegetables to it. They not only lend color but taste to it. Use black pepper instead of CHILI. Use honey instead of sugar. "Jaggery" can also be used as it is a good source of iron. Prepare a smoothie of the fruits available and have it in the breakfast. luna bars are delicious and theyre about 180calories, powerbar triple threat is more calories, about 230, but so so so good- tastes like a candy bar. just eat 1300-1500 calories a day, but make sure you get all your portions right(check the food pyramid)

Hello, There are many different foods that are healthy for you, but as we all know, fruits and vegetables are the healthiest of foods. In order to get a healthy diet, you just need to have all your nutrients well balanced during every meal (your carbs, protein, calcium, etc), and cut out on fatty things. There are so many healthy choices you can make, like example, choose brown bread or whole wheat bread over white bread, or choose brown rice instead of white rice. Another example would be to maybe choose an apple over a brownie for a snack. It all depends on what your comfortable eating. I hope this somewhat gave you an idea on eating healthy :)

Eat as many real foods as possible. Try to avoid many of the processed foods e.g. out of a packet. It's a good guide. These are fruit, vegetables, nuts, grains, meat, chicken, fish, yogurt, milk, etc. See the list below and add some of these to your shopping list. Eating healthy doesn't have to be hard, it just takes some planning. You'll feel better for it and look good too!

I know at least two people have already said it but the best food is the stuff that is natural, that doesn't come in a packet loaded with chemicals. Try to eat lots and lots of fresh fruit and veg, they are your best friends, and also some protein but you don't have to get all of this from meat, you can get it from things like beans and tofu. Eat wholegrain cereals (like brown bread) and eat when you're really hungry..stop when you're full. Good luck!

oh damn.. for starters diet food = bad. You want to eat healthy? then thats one thing that needs to go. Go for chunky or homemade soup or a salad sandwich with whatever bread you want, have 1 peice of fruit or two (like apple and banana mixed with NORMAL vanilla yogurt and a sprinkle of honey). Try to have something different everyday then you wont get bored. Diet and Healthy eating.. they are two very different things in some cases. You have to have atleast 3 meals a day.. The best way to do it is 1) Big breakfast - not so your bloated and full, but when you feel satisfied. 2) Medium lunch - can be a sandwich with fruit or yogurt, chunky or homemade soup, chicken or pasta... 3) Small dinner - your about to go to bed, you wont be burning it off, so a decent small meal to end the day. with that diet you shouldnt be hungry. I know im not :P Now my favourite part of my "diet" is still have my odd chocolate and fast food and still stay great, thats due to my excersing, but naturally excersing :) i walk or ride everywhere! i go up stair instead of the lift, and there is no rush take your time walking up the stairs or walking. relax. But if you have just started dieting have 1 cheat day, it will help keep your matabolism going! say on sunday you can have maccas for lunch and a freddo frog for desert after dinner.. but then on monday - saturday you dont ;P
