I've been extra careful not to have any carbohydrates and furthermore, I'm eating so much less than what I was used to, and yet, sixth day of diet : weight loss = nill.
I am feling a bit lighter though... I have 3 stones to lose...

It could be all sorts of things.
You may already be at the correct weight for your body, or you don't have much to lose. (How much *you* think you need to lose may not be the same as what your body thinks).
You may be shrinking, even though you're not losing weight, if you are exercising and replacing the fat with muscle.
It could be "that time of the month".
You could be eating a lot of sodium and retaining water.
Do you feel better? That's what counts.

I can't believe there are actually people out there who still follow the Atkins diet. It is so unhealthy. All those toxins from an excess of meat and animal fat have to go somewhere. Where to? They go to your fat cells. All that animal fat and all those toxins......what is the consequence apart from the damage to arteries and organs.....will precipitate more fat in the long run once you leave the diet for a normal diet.
Follow a sensible eating plan......cut down on fatty and sugary snacks and get plenty of exercise.
forget the dried cranberries which have added sugar and add a half cup of fresh berries to top off your salad

dont confuse thirst with hunger drink a glass of water when you feel hungry to see if thats what you re really craving

try drinking skim milk at breakfast instead of juice overweight people who drank skim milk for breakfast ate fewer calories

this diet is rubbish it makes you ill just eat a healthy diet moderate portions and exercise the atkins dieters i know did lose weight but put it back on when they stopped even though they didnt overeat they had smelly stinky breath and cronic constipation its better to join weight watchers and have the advice and encouragement of others it also spurs you on to keep to your diet when your in a group
