weight loss? Topic: weight loss?

Question: if i were to drink only water for three days would i lose weight, or just gain "water weight", what about if i ate really small meals too! (i need to lose a few pounds by saturday) and i will be jogging and doing cardio each day! help please! or any other any advise to lose a few pounds in two days?

Just drinking water only... you will gain weight over all. Your body wil be begin to hoard what it has. Your body will not benefit any by this. I would suggest that y ou eat rounded meals with a high nutritional content- 6 a day that fit on a small desert plate or smaller. Keep fats down to a minimum. And exercise. Even after this Saturday has come and gone keep this up and you will build muscle mass which will aid in fat burning- thus weight loss and toning. Cheers, Ame

As usual, the conventional wisdom has some flaws. It seems to depend. A fast can be muscle sparing and fat burning if: 1.) You go into ketogenic state before starting fast (to put your body in fat-as-energy mode) 2.) You exercise some during the fast (cuz muscle is use-it-or-lose-it) Seems that people should not write off fasting for fat loss due to some misguided notion that you'll lose just as much or more in muscle. You should also know that a lot of water is lost during the fast, and this will come back at end of fast, and quickly - so don't be discouraged - does not mean you are suddenly getting fat again. -> Keep in mind then, during fasting you are always a couple pounds less on the scale than in reality -- cuz the water will come back. Read the doctor's responses in 1st link --"By eating fat just before a fast, we "guide" the body to using fat as the preferred energy source. And by using the muscles, we protect them."

if you have a seperate room keep small useful exercise equipment use those equipment while reading and listening songs

If you want to reduce your weight, you need to do a lot of exercise to accelerate your metabolism. It's better if you do cardiovascular exercise, because this kind of exercise helps you burn fat... You should begin with a good eating plan, combining fats and sweets with fruits and vegetables. It will be better if you drink at least eight glasses of water daily to control your calories and your cholesterol. If you want you can use some pills to control your weight and to accelerate the process of burning fat. I know some pills which you can use to reduce your weight. Those pills are Xenical and Hoodia. Their results are excellent and fast.

don't under eat. your body will just start storing fat - and you won't lose weight like you think. Eat smaller meals 5 or 6 times a day and you'll have better luck.

keep your cals to 1250 ... and do non rigourous exercise - like walking. don't undereat, or else your body stores every ounce fat you give it because it thinks it's starving - clever huh!? and drink only water - but not too much (under 8 glasses) or else you will gain water weight. good luck! and remember to keep it healthy ... or else you'll gain it right back.

The difference is whether you are losing fat or muscle mass. By exercising when you are losing weight you will be sure to lose the body fat and not the muscle mass. You have to exercise at least 4 times a week. You need to cut all soda and junk foods from your diet not completely or you will feel like you are being punished. Use these things as a once in a while treat. You also need to put fresh vegetables and fruits into your diet along with whole grains. Cut out white bread and add stone ground wheat bread. You must drink plenty of water to help flush toxins out of your system. Don't be in a hurry to lose the weight all at once it is not healthy. You didn't gain it over night you can't expect to loose it over night. If you fall off the diet one day don't dash the diet altogether it is only one day and you are only human. Tomorrow just start over. Good Luck
