Yesterday I Went To A Store And I Asked The Pharmacist If This Diet Pill Really Worked- She Said It Didnt -But She Said That Slim Fast Really Works- She Said That It Has Alot Of Nutrition In It- I Was Reading The Back Of It And It Has Sugar In It- I HAVE MY DOUBTS ABOUT IT WORKING-BUT THEN AGAIN I KNOW SLIM FAST HAS BEEN AROUND FOR ALONG TIME SO IT MUST WORK) - She Said That I'll Only Need To Do It For A Month To Lose My Excess Weight
I Am 5'5 Tall - I Have To Lose 10-15 Pounds.
IM THINKING ABOUT DOING THIS- ILL BE TAKING THE MEAL REPLACEMENT BARS INSTEAD OF THE SHAKES
I HAVE TO LOSE THIS 10-15 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you really want it to work, you'll have to follow their plan closely, a shake for breakfast and lunch, their snack bars for snacks in between, and a "sensible" dinner. It'll work, but it's not a miracle diet, and it's not easy to maintain unless you can really do it.
And the diet pills, some work, some don't. You really have to be careful about the ones you choose. If you were to go this route though, get them at GNC. You'll sometimes pay a little higher of a price, but if you find they don't work for you, you can take them back with your receipt and get your money back. I use this practice quite a bit when I'm "testing" new products from them.
If you're really desperate to lose the weight, there's a new diet pill out called Alli. It's a fat blocker. You REALLY have to follow their plan though. If you intake too much fat, you'll get really bad side effects (leakage, staining your clothes, oily discharge to name a few). They suggest you carry extra (dark) clothes with you until you know the side effects.
Don't forget though, with whatever option you choose, you should add in cardio workouts as well. It'll help boost your metabolism, and make it easier to lose whatever weight you want to get rid of.

It's worth mentioning that you have 15-25 feet of tubular smooth muscle (not the same a striated skeletal muscle) in your gastrointestinal (GI) tract and it needs exercise just as much as your biceps and other skeletal muscles. Liquid food robs it of some of that exercise which means that drinking your meals in inherently a bad thing to do for GI health. In addition, because you have minimal mastication, salivation, gastric production, peristalsis, etc. you will get very little digestive satisfaction from liquid foods and poor appetite suppression too. That makes shakes a poor food choice especially for dieters.
You would be wise to forget about protein shakes as meal replacements or supplements and eat good food. After all, we have evolved over millions of years eating a hunter-gatherer diet and no one has found a way to improve on natural foods with the exception of making sure food is pure and uncontaminated.
As with all other unnaturaly ways to lose fat, you will also have to confront the problem of keeping the fat off once it's gone. When you résumé your regular eating habits, you'll just regain body fat because you have not habituated proper eating skills. And, if you do habituate proper eating skills then why go to the trouble and expense of dieting with Slim Fast when you could have just cut your portion size and lost weight naturally? It makes no sense.
You asked it Slim Fast works? No, it doesn't work. You do the work while substituting a poor concoction of macro and micro nutrients in a soup euphemistically called a "meal replacement" for good food. That's a bad choice no matter how you view it. Consuming Slim Fast is not unlike returning to your infancy when you drank your meals except you get considerably less valuable nutrition in a substance that is not a satisfactory substitute for your adult GI system.

I've tried MANY different diet shakes and they may work at first but as soon as you start eating normal food (even fruit, veg and meat) you gain the weight back plus more. You are currently in a healthy weight range for your height but losing those 10lbs will still keep you healthy and not in an underweight category. Think about the workouts you do - are you doing plenty of cardio work? or are you doing mostly toning and weight work? Try this: Reduce your meal size slightly and add more protein (to keep you fuller for longer) Exercise a minimum of 5 days a week - mix of toning, cardio and weights And remember that it's going to take time, it's won't happen overnight.

It will work in the short term, but it's not something you can maintain for a long period of time unless you make permanent changes in your lifestyle. When I tried slim fast before I felt really deprived after several days and ended up binging.

it didn't work for me. Ended up loosing the weight slowly eating less exercising more. I know of a girl that lost 3 stone with it but she changed her habits too. She kept the weight off

it may work short term but if you dont plan on making a permantant lifestyle change then you will gain it back plus more. try this free web site to learn how to lose weight for good and keep it off through lifestyle changes and not depriving yourself of anything

I tried Slim-quick 30 and it was quite effective. I didn't need to do anything in order to lose the weight. I think the capsules helped to decrease your appetite. I lost about 15lbs within a month. Of course there are always relapses when you crave for those snacks. Also, the second time around it didn't work. I find that the diet pills only works once and the second time around your body may be resistant to it.
There are some obvious weight losing techniques which is adequate diet and proper exercise. If you're like me and tend to eat until you're full then eat until you're not hungry but not bloated. I can't say I have successfully maintained my weight with diet pills but with adequate diet and exercise it definitely helps. Also it's not always about the weight it's about toning those fatty parts on your body. Hope it helps!
