Question: I'm currently trying to lose weight and need a tasty dip(for red peppers) so i'm using hummus and a substitute for mayo on sandwiches so people tell me to eat hummus. Is this food good for weight loss? is it healthy? or is it too fattening? thanks

Hummus is excellent for weight loss as it is high in proteins, but the one you get bottled has more fat than the homemade one. Hummus is really easy to make so you can use this recipe for making hummus at home. Eliminate candy, sugar, soda, and all simple sugars from your diet. Excess sugar ends up being stored as fat in your body, which results in weight gain. I found the book to be very informative and easy to read. I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off. It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise. Get started today!

do you think any kind of food you eat is going to help you lose weight?? eating hummus is just intaking calories and intaking calories doesn't make you lose weight. yes we have to eat and hummus is healthy (not all of them because of added ingredients).. but it's not going to help you drop weight. but it's ok to eat

Green tea is what I've always heard. I never tried it myself. But most nutritionist recommend it in aiding in weight loss. You have to drink it plain though for best results, meaning no sugar. Maybe add lemon for flavoring. I cant drink plain tea, so I would have to add a little honey if your like me add just a little for flavoring, it won't hurt.
