Eat lots of carbs and high calorie foods, but maintain a good exercise routine otherwise you'll wind up with a lot of blubber instead of the good kind of weight, i.e. muscle. Eat pasta, rice, bread, lots of dairy, chicken, fish, and on occasion red meat (cut out processed meats, they're bad for you), along with fruits and vegetables. WORK OUT BY LIFTING WEIGHTS!! After workout, drink a protein shake. They sell good ready-made ones at Walgreens in the health section called Myoplex. The shake must be consumed 30 minutes post workout or else your time in the gym was for naught. Stay off junk food like potato chips, cookies, cakes, sweets, twinkies, chocolate, and definitely stay off soda. these foods have absolutely 0 nutritional value and severly damage your body further down the road. Ignore the idiots who advised you to eat at McDonalds and to eat junk food. They're probably lugging around rolls of belly fat right now.
Keep this routine consistent and you will see results in a few short weeks.

Don't listen to the bullies!! there are so many people who wish to be skinny like you!!! but.. if you really want to just eat a lot of junk food and no physical activity although i do not reccomend this because is really not healthy for you!!
There is no way to actually gain weight quickly. Working out and gaining weight takes years and years. I do not at all recommend it, but steroids is the only real way to gain muscle and weight quickly. Get a gym membership, and if you can't afford one, start out with a cheap pair of dumbbells. I recommend that you start with 20 lb. dumbbells, they will probably be good for most of your exercises. Good luck and God bless.

hopefully you want to gain muscle mass, not fat, right? increase your protein and carb intake. Try to minimize the fat. Work on weight lifting, and you may want to include protein shakes - those usually have the fastest effect - but unless you work out with them, it will just be fat. As far as the work out - do lots of sets, with few reps in each. this helps bulk up the muscle group. A personal trainer in your local gym could also give you additional advice. : )

Eat foods high in fat, such as nuts, avacado, dairy, eggs, meat, and eat at fast food restaurants. Put lots of butter/ oil/ fats on all your food.

There is a term: body building. Do exercise and eat a lot. You'll see your body building up. You can talk with any body builder in a gym for more help and guidance.

It really depends on your metabolism type. There are three scientific classifications for metabolism. Endomorphism, Mesomorph, and Ectomorph. To explain them simply, the endomorph has trouble losing weight, the mesomorph can gain or lose weight at their discretion, and the ectomorph can eat everything in sight and not gain a pound. Assuming your not the endomorph or mesomorph, the ectomorph has to eat complex carbs like starches and red meats, because their metabolic rate is very high. So stick to thing like potatoes and lean red meats like sirloin and take extra protein. And if your trying to gain muscle mass I have found that full body workouts every other day work best. I am an ectomorph as well and put on 25lbs of muscle thanks to this information. Hope this helps.
