Question: I'm 16 years old and I am very busy with my life. I am not clinically obese or nothing like that but I am plump!!! It seems that I can gain weight easily but it takes some time for me to loose weight. With this weight I feel very awful and ashamed of myself that I cannot loose this weight ( I don't feel sorry for myself though cause in the end I know I am still beautiful). But what can I do that is convienient and effective? Thanks a lot!

There is nothing you can do to lose weight quickly. Losing weight involves a balanced diet and exercise and that takes time. Any diet that says you can lose weight quickly is lying to you to make money, it's why dieting is a multi million dollar industry. If you want to lose weight eat a balanced diet that you like. It's very hard to sustain a diet with a food you abhor. It's going to take time and dedication on your part to keep exercising right. It's also important that you not skip meals and eat a lot at a latter time or large meals right before bedtime because you'll gain weight. You're only 16, so talk to a doctor or nutritionist or your parents to get set on the right track. Trying a trendy diet because they claim you can lose twenty pounds in twenty days is asking for trouble. These types of diets are either outright bluffs or unsustainable. What's worse you could end up gaining back more weight than you loss or have serious health consequences due to lack of vitamins or whatnot.

well first of all, you're not not fat. However, if you really want to lose weight quickly without taking pills or anything, i suggest a diet that worked for me. i lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks or so. eat breakfast...eat lunch at noonish....skip dinner. so basically you eat breakfast at about 7-8 in the morning, then lunch at noon. then it's very important that you dont eat anything after that until the next morning's breakfast. people have told me that this method screws up the metabolism, but i dont feel it. good luck.
