Supplements for lean muscle?
Topic: Supplements for lean muscle?
November 17, 2019 / By Sky Question:
I have started my fitness journey recently. Looking for supplement insight and advice. I am a girl, 4'9" 126 pounds. I go to the gym at least four times a week for at least an hour and a half at a time. My focus is not only a little bit of weight loss but also getting the lean muscle.
I have cut bread, dairy, candy ext out of my diet.
(send recipes of yummy chicken, pork and beef to me too!)
I am focused in lean meats, and healthy veggies i do suffer from an iron defficiency so eating plenty of red meats is important or a good supplement with iron in it.
I do drink one serving of a soy protein shake after my workouts.
Any good supplement suggestions for me?

Sounds like your doing it right.
Take a multivitamin with potassium every day, and vitamin D3, 1000mg. Look up the benefits on D3, it is important.
I make my scrambled eggs with some vanilla and cinnamon, then use sugar free syrup to taste like french toast.
You can make a good pot roast with cabbage replacing potatoes, and put onion with it.
Put a packet of brown gravy over it, add water to half full and cover. Cook at 325degrees for 2 fours, then uncover it and baste everything, cook uncovered for another half hour.
You can marinate chicken strips in blue cheese dressing, then bake or BBQ, then dip in some wing sauce. Taste like wings.
Boiled cauliflower with a spoon or two of cream of mushroom soup and salt and pepper mashed is really good also.
Make sure you get enough calcium, or it will come out of your teeth and bones.
Don't trust the scales, as when you lose fat you gain muscle, so it wont really show much. Your clothes are a better indicator of your fat loss.
Best wishes. :D

A good way to gain weight while minimizing boy fat gain is to carb cycle. It may sound a bit complicated but since you said you have tried "everything" this could be the silver bullet your looking for. I am doing my own varation of it and i am gaining pretty clean weight with a 90% clean diet. Bascilly its varying days of carb intake based around the days you workout to further utilize them.
Also stick with major lifts like squat, deadlift, bench, rows, chinups, dips Those are THE Hands Down muscle building excercises.

Unfortunately, you cannot gain muscle and lose weight at the same time. When you gain weight, you gain muscle mass. When you lose weight, you lose fat. It's as simple as that. I'd recommend that you cut down to a desired body fat, and then start gaining some muscle mass.
Take your body weight, multiply it by about 15, and that should be a good estimate on how many calories you should eat per day. You can lift weights 4x per week hitting each muscle twice per week at most, and do cardio on the other 3 days. If you stick to this plan, you should lose at least 2 lbs per week and up to 3.5-4 for quite a while. Lose 3 lbs per week over 3 months, and that is 36 lbs! You will definitely see some fast results.
If you start gaining weight, drop the calories by 500. Try to get at least 1 gram of protein per your body weight, so if you weigh 150 lbs, eat at least 150 grams of protein. Also, make sure that around 23% of your calories come from fat. The rest will come from carbs. Fitday.com is a good site to track your calories and http://fit-universe.com is a great site for training/nutrition articles. Refrain from eating any carbs at night, and make sure that you eat most of your carbohydrates about 1-2 hours before your workout. Good luck!
