Question: Why are high fiber such as fruits, vegetables, and complex carbs considered "healthy" if they make you crap?

Actually, complex carbohydrates really *aren't good for you, at least in the amounts Americans eat. They're why 50% of Americans are overweight, and diabetes is now an epidemic disease (that and high fructose corn syrup in every thing, but that's another story. ) Anyway, high fiber foods (ones without all the sugar) actually lower the complex carb count . It is a really big deal if you are diabetic, closer to it, or overweight at all because then your chances of becoming diabetic are much greater. Read labels, know food contents anyway . And high fiber foods just regulate the consistency of your stool, not make you go .

Normal, and eating fiber makes you go more often. Though usually food takes 2 to 3 days to process. Normal to not pee when taking a dump.

One of the only really good things about fiber is that it is a carbohydrate that cannot be digested. The "healthy" status of fiber was simply created as a marketing ploy several decades ago based on false unscientific information. Think of fiber like eating a piece of paper. Your body cannot digest cellulose, so it simply passes through you. I'd rather eat something that doesn't just pass through me.

If you get the nutrition from food but then it passes through your intestines faster it is better for you.
