Question: I need to gain weight fast in like 7months(for football). I would like around 30-50 pound. Im 16 and 5'11/130 I workout everyday in the morning and sometime 2 days in the afternoon.

This may seem like a stupid answer but trust me, I was in the exact same position as you. You have to EAT! Stop conditioning and just eat. You can still do sprints and heavy weight lifting but don't rep and don't do any endurance training until you gain the weight. You literally have to force yourself to eat, even when you feel full. Of course you should eat somewhat healthy. The downside is the expenses. I cleared out my entire house within 2 weeks. My parents were pissed. FYI, even 5lbs of weight will make you feel more sluggish so keep that in mind if you want to do well in football. It takes a while to get used to added weight. I guess it depends on your position. If you're interested, this is my story: I was the same height and around the same weight as you but I probably had a higher metabolism because I ate ridiculous amounts of food (around 3000-4000 calories) but still sat around 135-145. That's when I decided that I had enough. I began consuming 6000-8000 calories of fish, chicken, bread, rice, cheese, cereal, milk, eggs, peanut butter, and protein shakes. Some days I would even reach 10000 calories. I would eat most of the food right before bed. This is because your metabolism slows when your asleep but it could be bad for you since you're not supposed to lay down while acid is in your stomach but I didn't care. I'm sure the large amounts of food in my stomach would soak up all the acid. I did sprints and heavy lifting 5 days a week in order to keep my appetite and to gain muscle mass. You need to rest though. Get a lot of sleep. 2 a days is too much. It will burn too many calories. In order to eat as many calories as I did, you have to constantly eat. I ate about 4-6 full meals a day with about 2-4 hours between each or 3-4 HUGE meals. It took me about 2 hours to finish the huge meals so there went my entire day. When I checked my weight, I gained around 5 pounds just from food inside me. I was so backed up with food that I had to go to the bathroom after every single meal. I felt surprising healthy though. I reached 155 in just a week and went up to 165 in 2 weeks. Then I ran out of food :( but I only went down to 155-160. That's because the body prefers to maintain it's weight. When I went to college, I only ate 1-2 small meals a day and walked about 30min-1hr every weekday to get to class and I didn't lose the weight for a while but when I started losing about a year in, I lost a lot and quick. Now I'm stuck in your position again but at 21. I find that I don't have nearly as much time or food to eat as I did back then so now I fluctuate 140-150 at 6'. I plan on bulking up again but it takes a ton of commitment because if you even stop for one day, it will take a lot more to recoup and it's a complete waste of time and money if you give up in the middle. I've gone through the same thing. First, you need to eat a high calorie diet and then exercise. By high calorie I mean like 2,800+ calories. 1. You can start by eating a big breakfast. This will usually get you about 900 calories and almost halfway there. 2. Go to the gym an hour or two after that. Weight lift and get in shape. Muscles weighs more. 3. Snack, drink a protein shake, and then eat lunch. Get yourself up to 1,900 calories for the day by now. 4. Snack a little more - nuts and legumes are good. At this point in the day you can try weight gain shakes. 5. Eat a small dinner, that's right. You don't need a big dinner at this point. You will easily pass 3,000 calories at this point. And THAT is how you gain weight if you have a high metabolism, and nobody will even think youre fat.

But what her doctor said helped the most is that she ate tons of cheese. and her mom gained 6 pound in a week because of eating all that cheese with my friend. so try every thing i listed andif you can be lazy.
