I think you mean "Citromag" ? Magnesium citrate, a magnesium salt of citric acid, is a chemical agent used medicinally as a saline laxative and to empty the bowel prior to a surgery or colonoscopy. Usually very little or no side-effects, but if they persist, see a physician. The stuff tastes vile to me as well, but otherwise it does clean out your bowel. The nausea should pass quickly, just drink more, plain, cold water.

Zantac (Ranitidine) is usually well tolerated by most patients and side effects only occur rarely in my experience. If side effects do occur, then you would expect them to improve within a few days of stopping the medication. The most common side effects include abdominal discomfort, nausea, diarrhea or constipation. There are other rare side effects, including drowsiness and headaches. Serious side effects are rare but are listed on the side effect list. Medications effect people differently and it does not mean you will any or all of the side effects. I have had many patients on Zantac or medications like it and I have never had anyone complain of side effects. This does not mean they do not occur, but this is my experience. You can take Antacids occasionally with Zantac if needed. The side effects of Zantac usually occur with the duration of the activity of the drug. Zantac lasts about 12 hours. The side effects can last this time or may only occur during the first few hours. Some people may have side effects at first, which may resolve over time. It is hard to say what will happen in your case. I will post some links that may help you. Good luck. http://www.drugs.com/zantac.html http://www.zantacotc.com/ http://www.rxlist.com/zantac-drug.htm http://www.webmd.com/drugs/mono-7033-RANITIDINE+TABLETS+-+ORAL.aspx?drugid=4090&drugname=Zantac+Oral

Zithromax appears to be effective against acne. This is because Zithromax is an anti-bacterial drug, and acne is caused by a particular type of bacteria in the skin. Users report that Zithromax does a good job of clearing up their acne, which is more than several acne treatments out there can say. The downsides are the potential side effects of Zithromax. It is a powerful anti-bacterial drug; as such, users could experience side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headaches. It can also interfere with birth control if taken at the same time. Zithromax, in conclusion, could be a powerful tool to use against acne, but the individual user will have to try it out for themselves to be sure. http://www.ustabs.net http://www.rx-pharmacy-online.com http://www.lolarspharmacy.com

No, I think she did mean Zithromax AKA Z-Pak AKA Antibiotics. Why would she have eaten food if she took Citromag? That makes absolutely no sense. Asker: can vary depending on your dosage and frequency. Take some Pepto-Bismol to calm your stomach. Perhaps try eating a small snack half an hour before your pill and then again when you take it. It gets the digestive system moving quicker to absorb the meds. You will likely feel better by the time you check the question again, though. I get the "unexplained rash" when I'm on a Z-Pak course. Not fun! Feel better soon :)

In the end it is your decision whether or not to go on accutane. Personally, My advice would be to not obsess over what you read on the internet and do whats right for yourself and what your DR says. I just finished 6 months of accutane. Probably like you, I was terrified after reading all the horror stories online. But i decided to go on it anyways. it was a rough experience, the dryness is miserable. But in the end, it was worth it. I am basically 100% clear. Since being on it so many people are commenting how clear my skin is and when I tell them I went on accutane they usually know people who have been on it also. Ive never heard of any horrible things happening to anyone….Prior to starting it, I tried EVERYTHING including organic things, and nothing worked.
