Theres two ways to lose weight....exercise more or eat less. And through these two ways, you must focus on these three things...when you do it, how much you do it, and how you do it.
Eating less tends to be more painful, but will have longer lasting results since your stomach will actually shrink in size and you'll desire to eat less in the long run. Most people resort to exercising more though, which in essence is burning energy (calories). Exercising does not shrink your stomach though, so if you stop it will probably all come back unless you've started a new meal or dieting plan with it.
The best way to eat better is not to actually intake less food or drink, but getting a little more creative with what it is that you're choosing to eat. Drinking water instead of sugar beverages, and never eating past 9pm is a great place to start. Snack on fruits and nuts through-out the day. Eat fish and veggies for meals when possible, and cut down on portions. Smaller meals 5-7 times a day will keep you filled and boost your energy.
Also, never binge. In other words, the worst thing you can do is starve yourself for long periods of time, and then eat alot at once. This expands your stomach size which only makes you more hungry more often. Smaller snacks (grazing) on healthy food through-out the day is best.
I know this through much experience and searching online. There are no big secrets out there other then simple combinations as described above. The easiest way to lose weight is by a little work, a little self control, and about 30-60 days to see results. If you start today and are honest with yourself, I promise that you will see changes and feel good about yourself in 30 days.
Specifically, to tighten those abs, simple crunches will work to strengthen the muscles. Do 3 sets of 30 repetitions everyday, and increase repetitions as it gets easier. Remember though, if you're not eating better then you're only building muscles under the layers of fat. You need to remove the bat to see your abs.
Start off running 1 mile at a light job. Increase your speed, and then distance as you body performs better with endurance.

You can't make your body lose weight in specific areas, you just have to lose weight in general. The best way is to cut out sugar and junk food. Make sure you don't eat empty carbs (white flour), and do a lot of cardio mixed with weight training. Since you want to do it at home, I would go running, or jump rope. Do situps and push ups and lunges as well.
this is asked a lot actually ima copy and paste my awnser to these.
edit: protien shakes yes are very good for dieting purposes they supply an easy lean protien with all the amino acids your body however make sure you count those calories every calorie counts.
try to eat 20% calories from fat of your total calorie intake in a day. Try to also get an equal balance of polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and saturated fat.
-You have to count calories to lose weight. If your burning 1000 calories walking 10 miles, but then that same day eating 3500 calories, you'll never see progress
.. I'd say eatyour BMR calories a day in numerous small meals.
-6-8 small meals keeps your metabolism running all througout the day. So it's far better to eat many meals and small portions
-Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
-Try to make sure you don't eat to many carbs or fat at once.
-unless you really understand nutrition labels try to stay away from proccessed foods and stick with whole foods. Such as instead of eating a tv dinner buy chicken, bake it, buy the veggies and steam them and then have an orange or something natural.
-If your a big fan of meats try eating White meat of chicken and turkey. Tuna is great if you like it. This will help you get protien but stay clear of the saturated fat that comes with meats
-exercise in the morning if possible, your bodys more prone to exercise when your first wake up it's ready to burn calories but later in the day it can take a bit of mental preperation to start a workout. In addition if it's an intense exercise like HIIT your rmr is faster throughout the day.
-If your a light exerciser like walking or very slow jogging then you can exercise as much as you want in the day, but you can choose a hardcore stamina training style like HIIT or long distance jogging then give your body recovery time. A stamina building routine is better in the long run and is more time efficient so you don't spend as much time having to burn calories.
-Also the very moment you wake up eat something with complex carbs in it, such as fiber. Protien too, because it kick starts your metabolsm and try to eat fairly soon after any execardio exercise sessions.
Healthy weight loss is 2 lbs a week typically it can be done faster though and stilll be healthy but unless you have radical surgery or something don't expect much more than that.
also when you eat less than 1200 calories every day your body will go into "starvation mode" and instead of your body burning off stored fat it will horde that fat and get it's energy from the protien in your muscles and your muscles will dissapear and thus you will burn less and less calories everyday due to a slower resting metabolic rate.
Eventually your diet WILL plateu if you do the same thing all the time. To avoid after 6-8 weeks of losing weight, try to take a week off and eat the same number of calories you exert. Then go back tot he 6-8 weeks. Remember also the first week or so most of the weight you lose is water weight =/ So don't get discouragesd after the 2nd or 3rd week.
If you lift to sustain to cut try and get 50% protien/30% carb 20% fat diet. So A lot of protien but the rebuilding of hte muscle tissue with the absence of carbs induces ketosis and increases the calories burned at rest during the day.

please do not eat pr drink any protein supplements. they re not for kids and they re not for losing weight. they re for bodybuilding perposes and shoulöd be taken only under a professional supervision. running is very good for losing belly fat. u should run not less than 1 hour a day. if u run in evenings do not eat anything after. u may drink a little.

You're very pretty! How rude of those people to say otherwise, especially your family. First and foremost please know that you don't ever need to compare yourself to others, not even family members.
If you want to lose some weight then do abdominal and core exercises, anything as simple as situps and pushups (try 10 of each the first day, 20 the next, and work your way up to doing 50 of each per day). Also, to tone your body try cardio workouts, you can get these on DVD or take a class.
It's really simple if you think about it, the key is commitment. Motivate yourself to exercise every day and you will be healthy and happy!
