Question: I don't have a lot, but I would like to get rid of what I have. Are there any specific exercises I can do to help me get rid of it?

It's pretty difficult to try and target a specific area of your body with the aim at reducing fat levels, however, I'm recommending that you focus on high intensity short duration strength routines. These will stimulate your metabolism in a way that most cardio routines will not. Assuming that you're not carrying a whole lot of excess weight and that the only real problem part is your love handles, then try stuff like jumping rope, squats, deadlifts, and even sprints if you're able to. If you've been exercising in the past and you're still unable to drop fat in that area, it may be that your routine has become too routine - mix things up, keep your body guessing, keep your diet clean, and increase the intensity at which you work out. Do not overdo your exercise - I'd say limit it to 4 times a week but for each of those 4 times, work out like there's no tommorow. I'm saying this because excessive exercise can stress the central nervous system (CNS), and if that goes into overdrive you can do more harm than good in terms of fluid (water) retention which people often mistake for fat on their body, or worse - actual fat gain. This probably isn't the answer that you're hoping to see, but the only chance to get ride of those would be to keep doing what you're already doing. The only way to effectively lose fat is to get cardio exercise, which burns fat from the whole body in general. However, a person's genetics determine where the majority of a person's fat-holding cells (adipose) is located, and so it is harder to do away with all of the fat there.

A new program just started with results is on a excersise bike you peddle fast for 8 seconds then slow for 12 seconds they reckon the weight falls off . Good Luck ** For 20 mins 3 times a week .

crunches.....possibly..or you could buy one of those bean things that you sit on and roll up and down with...idk if it works...I just saw a commercial for it...lol

What you do is practice self control...either being fit and healthy is important, or eating "exciting" greasy food is important... I will say if you don't get your weight under control as a young person, it will get harder and harder to lose it as the years go by (and keep it off)... Eat healthy and exercise regularly, or expect to have a weight problem until you do...I was a chubby kid then my weight went up and down over the years as I'd lose weight, regain, lose weight, regain...at 48 yrs old I have to fight to keep my weight under control and have just lost 12 lbs over the summer, with 8 more to go to get back to my goal weight, yet again...better to lose the weight and keep it off by living a healthy lifestyle, than to spend your life on a weight loss/weight gain rollercoaster...it's not good for your health (internally) or your body (externally)...
