Topic: are you into organics and healthy food?
November 23, 2019 / By Juanita Question:
I am but why do I feel like I'm still being poison? I have this fear that everything from the store even if it says organic on it, whole foods market or even farmer's market, there's still chemical in it that will kill me. How do I overcome this feeling and put more trust in the people who handle our market food? Should I never eat again until I grow my own organic veggies?? would I die by the time I raise my own farm?

The organic food industry is basically a joke. Just being organic raises the price. Also companies like Whole Food Market support the homeopathy quacks.
Here is a link for Penn & Teller on this.

yes, organic foods don't use pesticides or hormones to increase their growth. Those chemicals can be hurtful for you and your baby. Organic is the way to go. You will also feel better. If you can't get organic, look at the label and make sure you know exactly what you are putting in your body. Look at the Jack Lalanne's juicer. This will help you get the vitamins and nutrients you need for a day. It's fantastic. Good Luck!
"Why do I feel like I'm still being poisoned?" I don't know, what is it exactly you are afraid of?
If you're afraid of biological contaminants, they are indeed out there, (I'm talking things like E. coli, listeria, and salmonella), they are equally present on conventional and organic food (even possibly food from farmers markets) and so following safe food hanling guidelines is important.
If it's other things, you're over reacting. Even conventional food is perfectly safe in that respect. But if you're hyper-concerned, you can always buy organic. To be certified organic a farm has to follow specific guidelines and not use a long list of things, and they can't grow trans-genic (GMO) crops. And they have to be inspected and certified every year.

Just to let everyone know, we are fighting back against the big boys who market their chemical cleaning products as “safe”. There is a new organic product. The stuff is amazing and will take care of just about any odor you encounter organically and naturally.
Household cleaning products are one of the absolute worst culprits of body damaging chemicals in our homes. Please check out Freshana Organic Solutions. http://FreshanaOrganic.com
They are the only 100% Organic, patented safe and effective microencapsulating cleaning products in the world and are trying to change the way people look at “organic.” No longer do you have to give up quality for safe cleaning.

DON'T EAT ANYTHING FROM THE WEST COAST!! look up the fukishima melt down!! It's poisoning all seafood and now rain water is contaminating ALL crops!! Wake up people this **** is killing all of us. Besides Monsanto genetically creating toxins in our vegetables and fruits, now it is all radioactive.

Because the ingredients in the unhealthy food are so cheap they're actually cheaper than the healthy stuff.
In the past fruit & vegetables always used to be cheaper than animal products, but thanks to some modern inhumane intensive farming methods and new methods of carcass processing (for example "mechanically recovered/separated meat" etc) its very cheap to get a bit of animal on your plate these days.
What part of that animal though is another question (its not even technically meat most of the time), but when its all processed into a nice nondescript paste which is then cooked up in a shape with some flavourings & additives etc people don't seem to really care!
But yeah. I know farming, i know food factory work. I've lived/worked in both and i've done a lot of research on these matters too, and long story short my advice is: Save your pennies up for the better quality healthier food and avoid such processed foods (chicken nuggets, cheap sausage meat, burgers etc) like the plague! You'll be doing your health a big favour- its not just gross & fattening a lot of what they put in junk/fast food, there are major concerns over the long term health implications over a lot of the other things they add to food.
