Ive Been On A Low Carb Diet For Almost Two Weeks Now. The First Week I Weighed Myself & I Lost 7 Pounds -- Went From 176 To 169. Now I Am On My Second Week Of The Diet & I Have Been Weighing 165 Since Monday. I Walk At The Park Every Afternoon For An Hour & Workout For 45 Minutes Towards The End Of The Day. Why Am I Not Losing Anything My Second Week ?

You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight. Low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt, known as a dieting plateau. I graduated high school at 240 pounds and at 5 foot 3 that made me about as round as I was tall. I was one of those overweight teenagers who ate anything and everything without any regard to the effects it was having on my own body. Therefore, I began the diet pills, which did not work; I ate the special diet foods and even began drinking diet beverages. None of this stuff worked for me, just as it does not work for millions of overweight people. Eating less did not work and I was not one to work out or even get up and do anything remotely related to exercise. I knew I would look silly and it would hurt. I never thought or really cared about the health effects this would have on me, back then.
A year ago after a successful weight loss plan, now at 120 pounds, it is a major difference. I've lost 30 pounds in the first month. The most significant change in my life is the amount of energy I now have and the way my clothes fit loosely. Everyone close to me and people I haven’t seen in a while are amazed and tell me that I look really good. This is a life changing experience for me although at first I was skeptical about the weight loss plan.

At first you may see a big number, that is due to water weight. After that you should see 2-3 pounds a week. So I am going to say you should drop anywhere from 8-12 pounds. ( The heavier you are the more you'll lose) That is losing weight healthy. If you lose anymore there is a good chance you will put it back on. Workout 3 times a week, change your eating habits. DON'T DIET! Just cut out the junk, drink more water, eat more fruits and veggies. In no time you'll drop weight and start to feel better about yourself.
After when you are maintaining I would give myself one cheat day. That way you can eat what you want without ruining all your hard work and effort. Good Luck

this is my most frequently asked question and the answer is when you first start your weight loss it puts you body in a survival state any food you eat for the secon week your body is going to store in preparation for starvation even though your are not starving yourself. after you get through week 2 and sometimes week 3 you will se the numbers dropping agian i promise! i will go much more into depth with excersise and many other things iff you email me at [email protected]
