Question: Can anyone give me tips and exercises to lose my stomach fat I'm a 16 year old male I'm 5'7 and weigh 144 lbs and have probably 20-25 percent body fat and want to lose it in 1-2 months and could I possibly gain muscle and maintain my weight to atleast 140 or go up weight in muscle, it will mean a lot if anyone could help.

fat is lost evenly throughout the body. quickest way to lose fat is DIET, not go without eating, but control what you eat. Second is intense exercise, at least 4 times a week of 20-30 minute sessions

The MOST important thing is to eat naturally..without medicines, chemicals, "starving" your self etc. first, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally.. eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. as these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be "lean meat" such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID "JUNK FOOD" and "Fast Food" as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is not good . if you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins. go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours. if you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose at least 10 pounds per month until you get to your natural healthy weight..dont know what your height is,,but look up on the internet what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good. 10 pounds each month in 3 months you should lose 30 pounds..for sure...but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed... btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a "food steamer" at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a "rice cooker" which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs "healthy carbs" to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. you can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. thai or indian rice is good "jasmine rice".. buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like "cumin" or "Curry powders", etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste. drink "Green Tea" as this is very healthy and helps burn extra fat faster...you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well

If they are your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have to work double on them. The best approach is this: 1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal weight, lower for overweight). 2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage. 3. Target your problem areas with exercises. an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - six pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

You can target where fat will be burned the stomach is the last place to lose fat the face is the first. The first thing you need to do and its the most important is to adjust your diet ! I cant stress how important this is ! Eat a lot of fruits/veggies stay away from red meats ( steak, pork ) eat fish or chick, stop the sodas drink water only ! If you get this step down pat it makes everything so much easier. Its not about the calories ( it is ), but what matters is how your getting your calories. If your eating 2000 calories of kit-kat and chocolate milk its not the same as 2000 of apples and peaches. If the food you eat consists of fruits/veggies stay away from a lot of red meat (steak, pork) eat fish or chicken if you must. And JUST drink water. You'll be healthily and loose body fat. You shouldn't lose more then 2 pounds a week anymore then that and your risking really lowering your metabolism and then you'll end up putting on a lot of weight. Be safe and be healthy dont go starving your self and the more you run and jog the more calories you need to ingest. Its a process there is no healthy way to just shred off weight. AND CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO ! Im gunna be honest man its not easy but it will change your life !!!

firstly, try to only have complex carbs if you can, like oats instead of toast. next, don't skip meals. its actually bad. cut out fatty, and/or salty foods from you diet, like potato chips. when you eat meat, eat lean meats, like fish, chicken, or turkey (not fried or anything like that of course). now, other than diet, there's also exercise. make sure that your getting enough sleep so that you can do your full exercise successfully. again, your workouts will depend on your goals. for a slimmer, healthier physique, do cardio to directly lose weight and lift some lighter weights/body weight exercises to tone yourself up. if you want bigger muscles then lift heavier weights, within reason (don't injure your self). as for cardio, you can do it every day. you can either do HIIT ( go at about 60% for 40 secs- 1 min, then 95% for 20-40 secs) a few times, or just keep up a pace for an hour or so. cardio comes in different forms such as running, cycling, swimming, or even hitting a punching bag. whatever gets your heart going. as for weight lifting, dont do it 2 days in a row, and do workouts that will tone up your entire body. Aerobics & Cardio shed fat. Sit ups, crunches build ab muscles and you wont lose the fat you want gone by doing only those. Swimming is your best option. If you dint swim than start jogging,running w/e. You wont lose muscle as long as your eating and lifting. Your friend is over exaggerating. If you ran and only ran, diet on small amounts of protein,carbs yes you will lose muscle.
