Advantage of organic pesiticides is you don't have to worry about giving yourself cancer when you apply it or when you or others eat the food.
Another is its far cheaper and most of the time you can make them yourself with just a blender. Also, most organic pesticides don't poison drinking water and kill wildlife and pets.
With the fertilizers the biggest advantage is that they work better in the long haul, although chemicals work better in the short haul. They don't poison your drinking water supply permanently like chemical fertilizers can do. They don't burn and kill worms which are very desirable to have in your soil the way chemical fertilizers do.
I hope this helps you.

Speed, longevity and side benefits distinguish organic and inorganic.
Organic: Considered to be a slower release fertilizing agent. Manure and grass clippings need to break down before the plant can use it so it is not available to the plant right away. However, it is a longer term fertilizer. Till in a bunch or organic matter and plant away.
Side benefit of organic is increased soil tilith - the ability of the soil to hold and release water usefully, and increase the likelihood that whatever nutrition the soil has will be taken in by the plant. We have all seen potted plants that when watered only have the water drive down the edge of the pot and not soak in the soil. That is poor tilth.
Inorganic: Man made. Pellets, granules, sprays, usually marked as having a certain amount of NPK. Inorganic is generally a faster release. That can be important if your plant is suffering.
Side benefit to Inorganic: Only needs to be applied when the plant needs it. When germinating seeds, we don't need it because the seed has its own food stores. When the seedling gets its second set of leaves, it does need the fertilizer.
Negative to Inorganic: The soil stays poor. It does not, generally, improve tilth, so Inorganic needs to be applied again during the growing season and every year.
Inorganic tends to cost money. Organic, well, everyone is dying to give away horse manure and grass clippings. Free, free, free.
Inorganic is easy to apply. Simply toss broadcast and you are done. Organic requires labor. I've dug in 10 yards of horse manure before and it is a big job.
Sorry for the length. I hope I got to the point in there somewhere.
organic fertilizers are generally a more slow release fertilizer, with varying amounts of different nutrients. They add OM to the soil, increasing the cation exchange capacity, as well as some influence to the water holding capacity of the soil. Depends on amount used.
It is according to what you mean by 'natural' pesticides. A truly natural pesticide, such as using allelopathic traits from certain species, has a totally different meaning than that of naturally-derived pesticides. There are a few naturally-derived herbicides that I know of, and their main advantage would be a more rapid microbial degradation rate, resulting in less leaching and less possible groundwater contamination.
I only gave advantages, but you can only analyze if you have both sides...I assume you already know the disadvantages? An item may have a great advantage, but the disadvantage of that same item may significantly outweigh the advantage.

Organic pesticide is not an oxymoron-organic farming is NOT about benign neglect.
Organic pesticides are made from natural non synthetic materials-plant based or bacteria or fungii based and in most cases. They do not persist more than 24 hours. these tend to break down completely into inert substances by sunlight. You can find out more about organic persticides at http://www.omri.org and here is a nice article on organic 'cides with a bunch of good links http://www.grist.org/article/Checkout-Li...
organic fertilizers feed the soil not the plants. organic fertilizers actually grow soil. Things like cover cropping mean that erosion cannot happen (plant roots holding soil in place) and the resulting green manure adds organic matter, among other things to the soil. Synthetic fertilizers do not build soil and can add to soil lose/erosion
Organic fertilizers are not dependent on petroleum and can be made from local materials
Organic fertilizers are much wider spectrum as far as nutrients are concerned. Conventional fertilizers generally have 3 nutrients-NPK. organic fertilizers usually have many many more.

Pesticides are a number of chemicals mixed together to kill anything living such as bugs, plants and trees Organic fertilizers are used for growing plants that do not use any "Type of Chemicals". All natural ingredients are used only. This adds "nutrients" to the soil and keeps it balance and healthy. Fertilizer which is "Organic" would be compost, fish emulsion, animal manure that is cured and so on. This also adds nutrients to the soil and brings in much needed worms to fertilize and aerate the soil. Using "Organic" methods is an assurance that we do not kill insects, birds and all the critters that we need to have around so that all the plants and trees pollinateated. It also protects our ground water that we drink so it is safe. Chemical fertilizers are just that... chemicals that make a plant grow but in the long run they same the balance of natures soil. It is very easy to grow anything using organic techniques. Plus, it is much cheater both money wise and health wise. Best wishes =!=

The whole push for organic everything is kinda crazy, most people think that just because something is organic it is better... I would venture to say many people would think that the country would be better off if everything would be produced organically which is a joke because it is much less efficient to produce crops in this manner... so truthfully the only advantage is that you can your crops have no chance of having chemical residue even though your crops are going to be less productive and more costly... which there is no way that the nations agriculturists could ever produce enough crops to feed this country being organic

GMO crops have not been proven to increase production and in the past 8 years there has been a yield decrease with GMO soy and corn over conventional (not gene spliced) crops. So that is a false statement that GMO crops increase food production. they do not and never have.
Also since GMO crops have never been properly studied in a controlled feed experiement in humans (or really in any mammal) The few controlled feeding studies that have occurred have raised a lot of concerns about feeding GMO foods to anything as there has been liver failures. And fertility in animals fed a diet of GMO grains has plummeted to zero in many cases. because the corps who have developed this technology never did the proper studies before commercial release we have no way of knowing when they are harming us. And because the studies have yet to be done, the industry tells us that these novel crops are completely safe. In other words, they are telling us they have no idea if they are safe or not so lets just assume they are. These corporations have fought to deny the consumers they right to know if there are GMO's in their food by fighting labeling tooth and nail. if these GMO's are so wonderful why not proudly label them? What do these corps have to hide?
People who are food aware have some major concerns about GMO's and organic certification bans GMO's so these people buy organic foods because it is the only food that is guaranteed not to contain GMO's
